1. Warranty Coverage

HFP Attachments (“we”, “our”, or “us”) provides a 1-year limited warranty on all products we manufacture and/or distribute, unless otherwise stated in writing at the time of sale. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service.



2. Warranty Period

The standard warranty period is 12 months (1 year) from the date of invoice to the original purchaser. Certain products may have a different warranty period as expressly stated in product documentation or invoices.


3. What This Warranty Covers

This warranty covers:

  • Defects in manufacturing or materials under normal usage.
  • Structural failure due to faulty workmanship (e.g., weld failure).
  • Replacement or repair of defective components at our discretion.

 

4. What This Warranty Does Not Cover

This warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear.
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, improper installation, or lack of maintenance.
  • Modifications or repairs not authorised by HFP Attachments.
  • Damage caused by collision, accident, or environmental conditions.
  • Consumable components (e.g., hoses, pins, cutting edges) unless failure is due to a manufacturing defect.


5. Claims Process

To make a warranty claim:

  1. Contact HFP Attachments at (03) 9398 0493 or sales@hardwoodforestproducts.com.au, or via our website at www.hfpattachments.com.au.
  2. Provide your original invoice, product details, and a clear description (including photos, if possible) of the issue.
  3. HFP Attachments will assess the claim and, if approved, will repair or replace the product or components at our discretion.

Shipping and Transport Costs:

  • HFP Attachments will cover all reasonable shipping or transport costs associated with approved warranty claims.
  • If the fault is determined to be due to misuse, neglect, or unauthorised modification, the customer will be responsible for all associated costs.

 

6. Limitations of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • HFP Attachments’ liability is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective item.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of productivity or profits.


7. Australian Consumer Law

This warranty is provided in addition to the guarantees and rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You are entitled to:

  • A replacement or refund for a major failure.
  • Compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
  • Have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
